Pelle Moda and Moda Spana are some of BFD’s staples. Sam Chen, founder of both brands has done what others in the industry have thus far failed to do. 1. He makes fabulous shoes in BIG sizes. 2. Moda Spana, his more affordable brand allows those of us on a budget to purchase fab shoes at great prices.
While perusing at endless.com during the 3 day weekend, we found a big, bold and fabulous wedge that made us
.

Available in sizes 11,12,13 at endless.com for $149.95
RED ALERT! This is strictly for the BFDs with a wall street salary and bonus.
It’s a big, bold, fabulous platform just for us. Well not really, but it comes in sizes 11, 11.5, and 12. Available at saks.com or neimanmarcus.com for $650.00.
WARNING! For those of you like me, such a purchase will do some major damage to the credit card bill and might put you a month behind in rent.
Unfortunately, we’ll have to hope that a few pairs make it to a Century 21 rack sometime soon.

Yes, we love Bluefly and of course we are happy that they carry up to size 13 in shoes. Throughout the years, we have purchased many designer goodies (bags, sunglasses, jewelry, etc.) at up to 70% off from the retailer.
As we shop the online and in-store shoe market, BFD makes it a priority to point out any signs of retail slacking that we come across. And so, we have decided to put the discount retailer on the spot. The retail slacking that we are referring to is the scarcity of shoes in size 11.5-13 at Bluefly.com
BigFootDiva has been monitoring the B-Fly’s assortment of sizes 11-13 for some time now and we continue to be disappointed and rather unimpressed with what we see in this category. The size 11 assortment is solid, but 11.5+ needs an emergency face-lift.
To our friends at BLUEFLY, we know you can do better. So, what’s stopping you?

Let’s hope that the boom in sales of extended shoe sizes will translate into more designers and retailers catering to the big-footed community in 2010.
Are the big-footed ashamed when buying shoes?

It seems like Tory B. and her crew finally got the message that divas with big feet want to wear her shoes. Look what I found at Nordstrom.com

These cute flats are available in sizes 11 & 12. However, they are a splurge at $350.00
Hey Tory- Any chance that we can have those in sizes 13 and 14 anytime soon? Half sizes would be much appreciated too!!
